Thanks to the amazing generosity of our supporters on Patreon, we're releasing one more giant-sized Special Episode before the finale! It's a little flashback adventure, covering the history of Goddard Futuristics and the pasts of some of the series's main antagonists. Thank you so much to everyone that supported us and made this possible - this is a story that we thought we would never get to tell on the main show. Thanks to you, now everyone can visit a completely new part of the Wolf 359 universe in our second Special Episode: Volte Face. 

Investigative reporter Andrea Nash is having a very good day. She's flown halfway around the world on a very special assignment: an exclusive interview with Marcus Cutter, the infamous Director of Communications for Goddard Futuristics. It's a shot at journalism greatness, and Nash intends to make the most of it. But as she gets closer and closer to unearthing the earth-shaking story she's after, her subject gets more and more defensive... and starts considering more radical means of eliminating the unwanted attention. Plus, terrors to work for, a big, honking private plane, the charms of analog recorders, things no monkey could ever manage, and the fiery intensity of a thousand burning suns. 

This episode was written and directed by Sarah Shachat, from a story by Sarah Shachat and Gabriel Urbina. It features voice work by Clemence Kim and David Rheinstrom.

Three Years of Wolf 359, Change of Mind Re-Released, and New Behind-the-Scenes Extras!

It's Wolf 359's birthday! Three years ago, to this day, we released Succulent Rat-Killing Tar, Little Revolución, and Discomforts, Pains, and Irregularities! Oh, back then we had no idea how much of our lives would get taken over by this crazy little show, or how many lives this series would touch in just three short years! Looking back on where we started is a really flabbergasting experience - both because of everything we've done since then and because of all the attention, support, encouragement, affection, and love that we've gotten from our listeners! 

So what are we doing to celebrate? Glad you asked! First of all, we've just re-released our first giant-sized Special Episode: Change of Mind! Originally only available through our friends at Spoke, the feature-length flashback adventure is now available for download through our website and through your favorite podcasting apps! Whether it's your first time listening or you want to relive your time with Lambert, Fourier, Hui, Fisher, Selberg, and Lovelace, there's no better time to revisit Change of Mind! 

And, after you're done listening to the Special, head on over to our Extras page for a new behind-the-scenes bonus feature: a full-length audio commentary for Change of Mind! Writer-Director Gabriel Urbina goes through every scene of the episode, sharing thoughts on the writing of the scripts, stories from the making-of, and general trivia tidbits on the making of a giant-sized episode.

A few months ago, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our recurring donors on Patreon, we got to begin work on a special project, one we've been wanting to do for the last two years. The idea was to create a one-off flashback episode, taking us back to Captain Lovelace's first mission on the Hephaestus and her original crew. Today, thanks to additional support from our friends at Spoke, this Special Episode is finished. You can now listen to our new, feature-film-length, never-before-heard episode, Change of Mind.

It's not just our longest episode to date (over two hours!) but also one of our most ambitious, most intimate, and most twisted outings to date. We got to work with amazing actors and musicians in creating this audio adventure. We loved making this, and we hope you'll love listening to it.

Captain Lovelace, commanding officer of the U.S.S. Hephaestus Station, is not having a great week. She's butting heads with Communications Officer Lambert, her pedantic second-in-command. Doctors Hui and Fourier, her astrophysicists, seem more interested in an upcoming stellar flare than in basic station safety. Her engineer, Fisher, is getting fed up with the constant bickering, and her chief science officer, Doctor Selberg, isn't exactly... dependable. But things really take a turn for the worse when her superiors at Command decide it's time to put her crew through a very special training exercise, one carefully tailored to get under their skin. Lovelace, Lambert, and the rest of the crew must come together if they hope to make it through the longest, strangest, and most dangerous day of their expedition so far. Plus, apoplectic fugue states, emotional decision-making, corporate acid trips, never-before-seen attractions, and work of real substance.

This episode was written and directed by Gabriel Urbina, from a story by Lillian Holman, Cecilian Lynn-Jacobs, Sarah Shachat, and Gabriel Urbina.
